SA02: Route 419 (Electric Road)
Project Purpose
The study objectives are to address safety, capacity preservation, and pedestrian, bicycle, and transit access concerns along the Route 419 (Electric Road) corridor. One node and two segments were identified as VTrans Priority 1 needs along the study corridor, with 10 additional segments identified as Priority 2 needs. Goals are to identify safety and operational improvements to improve safety and access for all transportation users.
Survey
The survey regarding potential capacity preservation, safety, and pedestrian and transit access improvements along Route 419 (Electric Road) between Keagy Road (Route 685) and Bower Road in Roanoke County and the City of Roanoke is complete.
