SA05: Route 220/220 Alternate (Roanoke Road/Cloverdale Road)
Project Purpose
The study objectives are to address safety, congestion, capacity preservation, and bicycle/pedestrian access concerns along the Route 220/220 Alternate (Roanoke Road/Cloverdale Road) corridor. One node and one segment were identified as VTrans Priority 1 needs along the study corridor, with four additional segments identified as Priority 2 needs. Goals are to identify safety and operational improvements to reduce congestion and improve safety and access for all transportation users.
Survey
The survey regarding potential transportation safety, congestion mitigation, capacity preservation and bicycle/pedestrian access improvements along Roanoke Road/Cloverdale Road) between Route 11 (Lee Highway) and Commons Parkway in Botetourt County is complete.
